This website provides information about your surgery including how to book or cancel appointments and how to order repeat prescriptions. It also contains a range of practical health information and resources that we hope you find useful and informative.

Our premises are fully accessible to disabled people, and include the provision of a toilet suitable for wheelchair access. There is also an induction loop at Reception for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing.

This practice has committed to working together to improve end of life care. We have signed up to the Daffodil Standards.

A primary care networks is a group of local GP practices working together to create more collaborative workforces which ease the pressure of GP’s, leaving them better able to focus on patient care. The aim is for all areas within England to be covered by a PCN.

This means the practice may share your information with other practices within the PCN to provide you with your care and treatment.

We have a number of staff working at Wychall Lane Surgery who are employed by Bournville and Northfield Primary Care Network (PCN) via the NHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme. Their diverse skills and expertise are shared by the GP practices in our PCN.

First Contact Practitioners (FCPs)

Advanced physiotherapists, whose role is to be the first point of contact for patients with musculoskeletal problems, including back pain, neck pain and joint problems. Patients can book an appointment for this type of problem without needing to see a GP first.

Our clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technician provide medication reviews, as well as ensuring blood tests for medication monitoring are up-to-date, and that prescriptions are updated according to hospital clinic letters and discharge letters.
