The doctors practice together as a non-limited partnership.
As well as the partners we also have Dr Helen Parretti who is with us Tuesdays. Dr Parretti also works at Birmingham University.

Our practice nurses can help you with your minor illnesses and are trained in health promotion and screening. Their skills include giving injections, taking smears, managing asthma and other chronic lung diseases, diabetes, blood pressure problems, family planning and HRT monitoring.

Our practice nurse Trevor Can give injections, help you with minor illnesses, managing blood pressure problems as well as carring out range of procedures such as taking blood, doing heart tracings (ECGs), new patient health checks, health promotion and screening also responsible for learning disability and dementia reviews along with diabetic checks and Depo contraception.
Health Care Assistant
The health care assistant is not a nurse but is trained to carry out a range of procedures such as taking blood, taking blood pressure readings, doing heart tracings (ECGs), and new patient health checks.
We also have a Phlebotomist who has two clinics for bloods on a Wednesday.
Other Health Professionals
The CCG also employ district nurses, midwives, health visitors and counsellors who work within the surgery. If you wish to see a counsellor you will need a doctor's referral.
Appointments and/or further information are available via reception. The health visitors are based at Hawkesley Health Centre and the direct telephone number is 0121 466 3860 extension 53541.
Linda Guest is our Practice Manager and she deals with the operational and administrative management of the practice and will personally help answer any queries or complaints which you may have about our service. She welcomes any comments you have about the running of the practice including any constructive suggestions for improvement of our services.
Our Reception Manager manages our Reception Team. She will personally help answer any queries or complaints which you may have about our service.
Other valued and essential members of the team are secretaries, administrative, receptionists and cleaning staff.
We are a training practice and are approved to train doctors who have had extensive hospital experience and who intend to become GPs. They are fully qualified doctors and are under our supervision. Please accept them as one of us.
From time to time we have medical students from Birmingham Medical School. When students are in the practice you will be informed and have the right to request to be seen alone by your doctor if you wish.
